Music PEI Funding Applications

Attention: The submission deadline for the next round of Music PEI Funding Applications is Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 5PM AST.

The Music PEI Grant Funding Program has two deadlines per year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall, with three levels of funding:

1. Emerging Music Program (up to max $1200 per applicant)
2. Export Development Program (up to max $2600 per applicant)
3. Career Investment Program ($12,000 one year program)

Applications are reviewed by the Music PEI Program Officer to ensure they are complete and meet the eligibility criteria. All applicants are encouraged to meet with the Program Officer prior to submitting applications. Only PEI residents and CURRENT Music PEI members are eligible for funding.

All prospective applicants should carefully read through the various funding guidelines and application procedures for these initiatives and programs in order to have a good understanding of how the various programs and applications work. It is important to know what is required for a valid proposal submission. Incomplete applications may not be considered. There have been some minor changes to the scoring criteria.

Members should also take note of the new “Music Industry Professional” application forms in the Emerging and Export Ready categories. Applicants applying as MIPs must use these forms. The Music Industry Professional grants are for non-artist applications and could include managers, agents and labels.
