Music PEI is committed to building a more inclusive and equitable music industry. We recognize that the Canadian music sector has historically excluded many voices particularly those of Indigenous peoples, Black communities, people of colour, women, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, Francophone communities, newcomers, and those identifying as differently abled. These inequities continue to impact who is heard, seen, and supported in our industry.

We are actively working to change that.

We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as members of systemically excluded communities. If you meet most of the qualifications and feel passionate about our work, we want to hear from you, even if your experience doesn’t match every requirement.

Note: Due to the requirements from our funder for this position, applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
