Artists wanted for the 2019 United By Song Project in partnership with the United Way

United by Song is a celebration of our community and a thank you to those who help make it a better place for everyone to live, work and play.

Four individuals will share their empowering personal stories with four local artists. Each artist will write and debut an original song inspired by the strength and resiliency of the storyteller, shining a light on the critical issues, diversity, possibility and talent found right here at home.

The United Way of PEI is committed to building a province where poverty has no power, a province where people experiencing poverty – both now and in the future – can break free, triumph and realize their full potential.

Our work goes beyond bandages and temporary fixes. We focus on breaking the cycle of poverty by ensuring children are prepared for school, youth develop the skills they need to thrive in the job market and contribute to their communities, and people of all ages have an opportunity to improve their economic status and live a healthy life.

Join us for a special evening of courageous Islanders and talented songwriters that tell the transformative stories of lives changed thanks to the ongoing support of the United Way of PEI.

Date – Wednesday, October 16th 2019 at 7pm
Location – Homburg Theatre, Confederation Centre of the Arts
