Music PEI has officially opened submissions to showcase on the Music PEI stages at this year’s Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX) & M for Montreal (M4M) Events. Applications to play on the Music PEI sponsored stages are now open for artists and bands.
About HPX: Halifax Pop Explosion is a festival of live music discovery. Since 1993, HPX has been dedicated to helping music fans explore the local, national, and international scene, and discover their next favourite bands. The HPX conference component is committed to bringing together industry professionals, artists, and fans from around the world to discuss current trends, topics, and issues in the music industry. Halifax Pop Explosion is one of Canada’s most respected festivals and is a premier opportunity to showcase in Canada’s vibrant East Coast music scene.
Music PEI can take 4 artists and we will present them at a premium delegate-only event at the Carleton. HPX is targeting pop, rock, electronic and urban artists
Those artists who are selected will be responsible for providing their own travel costs.
Artists must be available between Oct 23rd – 26th.

About M4M: M for Montreal is a music conference and festival taking place every November and showcasing around 100 local and international buzz-worthy and breakout bands in over 15 venues across Montreal. Top music industry professionals mingle with fans and artists at one of the most vibrant music events of the season.
Music PEI can take 3 artists and will present them at a premium showcase event between Nov 20-23rd. Those artists who are selected will be responsible for providing their own travel costs.
