Canadian Song Conference | Listening Session submissions now open

Published On: March 13th, 2019Categories: News0 Comments

Submissions for the Canadian Song Conference (CSC) Listening Sessions are now open. The CSC is focused on exploring and creating multiple revenue streams for our members. One of these revenue streams is licensing your songs for TV, film and commercials.

Selected artists will have an opportunity to present highlights of their catalogue of recorded songs to our group of Music Supervisors and Publishers in an effort to have their music used in projects. The Listening Sessions will take place at the Guild on Thursday, May 2, 2019, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

There are only a limited number of slots available and successful applicants will be selected by a jury. Each participant will be given 10 minutes to present and pitch their catalogue to the delegates using your professionally recorded songs played through a PA. To be eligible, you must be a current Music PEI member, have a professionally recorded original release to which you own the rights, and be available to attend the Listening Sessions on May 2, 2019.

Music PEI will host an information session leading up to the event to prepare the selected artists for their listening session.

Deadline for submissions is March 22, 2019. Submit online now!
