Music PEI is soliciting bids from qualified photographers for the May Run Music Festival 2017.
Final proposals must be received via email only by Friday, April 14, 2017. Questions can be submitted prior to the deadline and will be answered within two business days via email.

Music PEI is a non-profit member services organization devoted to advancing careers of Island musicians. Music PEI is actively seeking ways to promote, foster and develop artists and the music industry on PEI. The Association acts as an advocate for the Island music industry and a representative at the national table.

Description of Work

Photography services are required at the following events. Note: events may be subject to change as plans for the May Run Music Festival continue to evolve.
Wednesday, May 10 (Evening) Open Mic Takeover – Baba’s Lounge, Charlottetown
Thursday, May 11 (Evening) Songwriter of the Year Concert – Kings Playhouse, Georgetown
Friday, May 12 (Evening/Night) Canadian Songsmith Sessions – St. Paul’s Church, Charlottetown; House of Rock – Hunter’s Ale House, Charlottetown; Dance Party – Fishbones Oyster Bar & Grill, Charlottetown
Saturday, May 13 (Evening/Night) Musical Worlds Collide – Florence Simmons Performance Hall, Charlottetown; Pop Show – Fishbones Oyster Bar & Grill
Sunday, May 14 (Afternoon/Evening) Awards Party – PEI Brewing Co., Charlottetown; May Run Meltdown – Florence Simmons Performance Hall, Charlottetown
Events where awards are being handed out, photography services include photo of award acceptance. We are looking for comprehensive photos – we want to capture the atmosphere/audience in addition to the subject matter.

Requirements
Photographs would remain property of Music PEI.
Photographs must be sized for web, Facebook and print
Photographs received electronically in the Music PEI office by Monday, May 28, 2017
Sample Highlight Photos available day after each event for Facebook updates

Selection Procedure
Proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by Music PEI and the Event Committee
Selection will be made based on a best value selection criteria that includes price, past experience on similar projects with similar scope, references, unique products and services offered, experience/familiarity working in live music events.

Payment
Successful bidder will submit invoice. Payment will be made upon delivery of product.

Maximum Fee
Due to budgetary restrictions, Music PEI has a maximum allotment for this service of $600.00
All travel expenses will be up to the photographer to cover. Some transportation may be available to events outside of Charlottetown (TBD).
