Fundraiser for The Heart and Stroke Foundation

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is committed to helping improve the health of Islanders and all Canadians by providing information and resources to help them reduce their risk for heart disease and stroke.

Music PEI is pleased to be partnering with Heart and Stroke Foundation to bring you Sing with Heart.

Sing with Heart – a lunch hour when Island musicians ‘busk’ at select venues to raise awareness – and money – for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and for Music PEI.

The event will be held on a day when a large cruise ship is scheduled to dock in Charlottetown. The musicians can also sell copies of their CDs with a portion of the sales going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We have selected Tuesday, August 13.

Event runs from 11AM – 2PM at various high traffic locations throughout downtown Charlottetown. Musicians will be asked to “busk” for a maximum of 1 hour. Donation bucks, signage etc…will all be provided.

Are you a musician on PEI who would be intersted in donating their time for this worthy cause? If so, please complete the submission form which can be found HERE.

We really appreciate your support and look forward to working with you and The Heart and Stroke Foundation for this worthwhile cause.

If you have any questions please contact us at [email protected] or 894-6734.
