Confederation Centre of the Arts Named Presenting Partner of Music PEI Week 2027
New partnership puts collaboration centre stage in a celebration of Island music
Charlottetown, PE — Two of Prince Edward Island’s leading arts organizations are joining forces to put Island music in the spotlight. Music PEI is proud to welcome Confederation Centre of the Arts as the presenting partner of Music PEI Week 2027, taking place February 26 to March 6.
The partnership brings together two organizations committed to supporting Island talent and building a vibrant, connected arts community.
Following its 25th anniversary celebration in 2026, Music PEI Week enters its next chapter with performances, industry events, networking opportunities, and the annual Music PEI Awards. The festival brings musicians, fans, industry professionals, and community partners together to celebrate Island music and strengthen the relationships that help artists build lasting careers.
“Support like this makes a real difference to what we can offer our music community,” said Andy Glydon, Executive Director of Music PEI. “It helps us create more opportunities for Island artists to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Having the Confederation Centre alongside us also speaks to the strength of PEI’s arts community. When we bring our resources, audiences, and ideas together, we can do more for the people creating here.”
“Music is how Islanders tell our stories and find each other. As first-time presenting sponsor of Music PEI Week, the Confederation Centre of the Arts is proud to champion the artists, creators, and community that make this celebration so special,” said Steve Bellamy, CEO of the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
Music PEI Week 2027, presented by Confederation Centre of the Arts, runs February 26 to March 6. Award nominees will be announced on November 17, with more festival announcements to follow. Visit musicpei.com/events/music-pei-week for updates.
