Request for Proposals: Videography Services

Music PEI is a non-profit member services organization devoted to advancing careers of Island musicians. Music PEI is actively seeking ways to promote, foster and develop artists and the music industry on PEI. The Association acts as an advocate for the Island music industry and a representative at the national table.

Music PEI is soliciting bids from qualified videographers for a Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week 2013 signature event ‘Nudie’s House of Rock’ 2013 taking place on January 25 at The Mack Theatre

Final proposals must be received at the address below (or via email) by Friday, January 11th, 2013. Questions can be submitted prior to the deadline and will be answered within one to two business days via email.

Timetable
RFP released: January 4th, 2013
Deadline for receipt of bids: January 11th, 2013
Notification to successful videographer: January 15th, 2013

Description of Work
Videography services are required at the live music concert: Nudie’s House of Rock

Stage Setup
Live music concert with two full rock bands on stage at the same time
Host (stage right).

Run time: 2.5 hours

Audio: Audio will be recorded by CBC that the successful company will be responsible to use when editing the videos.

Requires: multi-camera set up.
Suggested minimum of four cameras.
Include in proposal a description of multi camera set-up (example: two stationary gopro, two ___ etc)

Final Delivery
Edited video of full night
Additional highlight edited videos of each band (example a Two Hours Traffic only video)
The film would remain property of Music PEI but may be used by the videographers for their own promotional use (subject to the permission of the subjects).
Video must be sized for web (high resolution format suitable for hosts such as Youtube and Vimeo)

Video to be edited and received in the Music PEI office by Monday, March 1, 2013 on disc or flash drive.

Include a description of multi camera set-up (example: two stationary gopro, two ___ etc)
Samples of previous work
References
Fee for entire project which will include travel costs
Cheque Payable

Selection Procedure
Proposals shall be reviewed by the Music PEI Communications Committee
Selection will be made based on a best value selection criteria that includes price, references, unique products and services offered, experience/familiarity working in live music events. While we thank all of those who submit, only the successful applicant will be contacted.

Payment
Successful bidder will submit invoice and payment will be made upon completion of delivery of product. Successful bidder will also receive two complimentary tickets to the event.
