Showcase PEI Online
Music PEI’s signature export program, Showcase PEI, presents the best artists from Prince Edward Island (CA), to industry professionals from around the globe. In September 2021, Showcase PEI was held in person for Canadian industry delegates, we are now planning a virtual edition to accommodate international delegates.
Music PEI is primarily targeting industry delegates who offer live performance opportunities (ex: festivals, booking agents, venue programmers, etc) who are located in the USA, Europe, and the UK.
This event is a multi-genre live performance showcase taking place online via Zoom. Music PEI generally presents up to 20 exporting or export-ready artists. Please note, this is not a conference with workshops, speakers, or panels, it is strictly a performance showcase with business meetings.
Showcase PEI Online (2022) will take place in four sessions from September 19th to 22nd, 2022.
It is important to us that Island artists have the opportunity not just to showcase their abundant talent to international industry professionals, but also to grow their careers, professional teams, and business savvy. A vital part of this process is interacting with delegates in real-time; therefore, digital networking opportunities will be provided to give artists and delegates space to connect and generate potentially long-lasting business relationships.
Participating artists will be allowed to keep their finished live performance videos for future personal and professional use.
