Employment Opportunity- Music PEI now hiring Summer Student
Music PEI is now hiring a Summer Student for the months of July and August. Preference will be given to someone with a background in music or the music business and who has an interest in pursuing a career in music. The duties of the position will be to assist with day to day activities of the Music PEI office and to work on special projects as they develop. The Music PEI office is located in Charlottetown and the hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The Achievement in Jazz or Classical award was handed out at the Classical Show presented by PEI Symphony Orchestra at the Florence Simmons Hall on Saturday night with Atlantic String Machine walking away with the hardware.

Mulitple Music PEI award nominee Tim Chaisson, came away from the night with his first award of the week, the Country Recording of the Year award for his latest release Lost in the Light.
