Call for Submissions: Music PEI Showcase Stage at ECMW 2013
A call for submissions is now open and will close on Monday, February 4th at 5:00pm (AST) for a showcase opportunity on the Music PEI Showcase stage at ECMW. The opportunity is for one of 12 showcase slots scheduled for Friday March 8th or Saturday March 9th at Durty Nelly’s in Halifax between 10:00pm and 2:00am. This is an official ECMW showcase stage and performance fees will be paid according to the standard ECMW rate.

This call is open to all members of Music PEI in good standing. Preference will be given to artists who currently have official showcases during ECMW. You must also meet “export ready” or “exporting” status as defined by the Music PEI Export Development Funding Guidelines, and/or have an established team infrastructure and strong professional history.

You must also meet all of the following criteria to be considered for this showcase stage:

1. Music PEI membership must be current.

2. Your member profile at www.musicpei.com must be updated and current to include your profile and website link.

If you do not have an updated Music PEI member profile you will not meet eligibility criteria. You can update or renew your membership profile here http://www.musicpei.com/lounge/login.php. If you do not have your username to log into the website please email [email protected] and it will be emailed to you.

When you are updating your profile so it is visible online be sure to choose the “Edit Profile” button. This will ensure that your listing in the directory is visible.

3. You are a resident of PEI
You are considered a resident of PEI if you meet both of the following criteria:
• Primary artist and/or the majority of the group has lived in PEI for not less than 12 months consecutively.
• Primary artist and/or the majority of the group pay income tax to the Province of PEI
