Music PEI Announces Winners for 2026 Music PEI Awards

Summerside, PE – On Saturday night, March 7th, 2026, the 25th annual Music PEI Week culminated with the Awards Gala presented by the City of Summerside at the Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside. The celebration was hosted by CBC’s Bill Roach with musical direction by Craig Fair Productions. The gala also included performances by top nominees at this year’s Music PEI Awards including Logan Richard, Lennie Gallant, siddhu sneh, Richard Wood and members from the Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble – who paid tribute to PEI jazz icons The Jive Kings.

Tiffany Liu, siddhu sneh and Logan Richard each took home 3 awards. The list of winners included:

This year’s celebration included special recognition for two remarkable honorees: Teresa Doyle, the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award Presented by the City of Summerside, recognizing her passionate representation of PEI on national and international stages and highlighting her dedication to arts education, and Andrew Cormier the recipient of the Leo Cheverie Community Contributor Award Presented by Long & McQuade, for his efforts to build bridges in PEI’s music community and give visibility to lesser-recognized genres of music.

Public voting for two fan-favorite categories took place—Ocean 100 and Hot 105.5 Entertainer of the Year was awarded to the Mango Street Trio and the Anchor Fest Music Video of the Year was awarded to Lennie Gallant on March 2nd’s video screening event for his video Counting on Angels, directed by Matt Lodge. 

Music PEI Week took place from February 28th to March 7th, 2026, with events across the Island celebrating PEI’s music scene.
