MUSIC PEI Launches Music Sector Profile and Economic Impact Assessment ONLINE SURVEY CONSULTATION OPEN NOW!

December 16, 2014 | Music PEI is undertaking an important industry profile and economic impact assessment in partnership with international creative industries consultancy Nordicity.

From today, every music artist, music professional or freelancer and business is invited to have their say as part of a wide-ranging review and economic impact assessment of PEI’s music sector.

The study is intended to provide a clear understanding of the music industry on PEI, identify areas of strength and gaps in provision, and to support recommendations and inform future funding policy and strategic decision-making by Music PEI, government and other stakeholders in their approach to the province’s music industry.

A survey link is here: http://fluidsurveys.com/s/MusicPEI/
If you have any questions about the link or the survey contact the Music PEI office.

The survey is for every person, artist or business (venues, promoters, production) involved in PEI’s music industry. By completing it you will be eligible for winning a prize, including an Epiphone acoustic guitar courtesy of Long & McQuade and free attendance to Music PEI Week 2015. Your input is extremely critical to the success of this project.

All survey information will be held in strict confidence, presented in aggregate form only and no individual responses will be identifiable by any third parties. All data and information will be held securely in strict accordance to the principles of data protection, as set out in the Privacy Act and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
